Do you accept insurance?

At this time, Dr. Jeff is considered an out-of-network provider for most insurance companies. However, you may opt to pay for the office visit upfront and later submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement with the itemized bill (provided upon request) after your visit. Dr. Jeff highly encourages you to discuss your options with your insurance provider prior to setting up an appointment. If you need further assistance, feel free to discuss your concerns with Dr. Jeff during your appointment. 

Here are some general steps you can follow:

  1. Contact your insurance company: Call your insurance company or check their website to confirm whether they cover out-of-network providers and their process for filing a claim. You can also find out if there are any additional costs or deductibles you need to pay.

  2. Obtain an itemized bill: Request an itemized bill from Dr. Jeff after your appointment that includes the service provided, date of service, and cost associated with each service.

  3. Submit a claim: Fill out a claim form provided by your insurance company and attach the itemized bill. 

  4. Wait for processing: Your insurance company will review your claim and determine the amount they will cover. If there are any discrepancies, they may reach out to you or Dr. Jeff for additional information.

How do I reschedule an appointment? 

You may reschedule your appointment through your emailed appointment confirmation from “JL Pediatrics” and clicking the “Change/Cancel Appointment” button. 

If I cancel my appointment, will I be refunded or receive a credit for a future appointment?

While appointments can be cancelled, Dr. Jeff highly recommends you utilize the “reschedule” feature. 

Can I have multiple children seen at the same appointment?

For best practice and the best experience for you and your children, Dr. Jeff recommends one focused appointment per child.
Feel free to schedule back-to-back, same-day, or next-day appointments! 

Can I contact Dr. Jeff after hours? If so, how?

Yes! For established patients, you may contact Dr. Jeff via email (drjeff@JLpediatrics.com).
You may also call him at (470) 789-0205. If he is unavailable, please leave a voicemail with the following:

Your name
Your child’s name
Your concern
If you would like a return call (or if you just wanted to notify him of something)

Of note, for EMERGENCIES such as breathing problems, loss of consciousness, etc. CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY!
